Special Notes: They will need a background in shipyard work because they will be utilizing NAVSEA drawings and technical documents. Proficient with Stainless Steel primarily with any variation of other material listed.
Working Hours: M-TH, 7am - 4pm. Occasional OT
Day to Day:
Supporting the manufacturing facility where they will be forming, shaping, and assembling ventilation systems to support Aircraft Carriers and Submarines at local shipyards. All of this will be done in a shop environment.
Must Haves:
- 3-5 years of experience
- Experience with light gauge aluminum and stainless steel
- Read and interpret NAVSEA drawings
- Aluminum Tig Experience
Plusses:
- Familiarity with hydraulic break presses, rollers, shears, and lay outs from the flat pattern
