Requirements

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) , AWS cloud development , and Snowflake data engineering . The ideal candidate will have experience in the mortgage/financial services industry , preferably with Freddie Mac , and bring strong hands-on development and integration skills. Exposure to PySpark is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications with strong focus on APIs and microservices .
  

• Build and maintain data pipelines and integrations using IICS .
  

• Develop and optimize Snowflake-based solutions for data storage, processing, and reporting.
  

• Leverage AWS cloud services for scalable application and data solutions.
  

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, architects, business analysts) to deliver high-quality solutions.
  

• Ensure application security, performance, and scalability in cloud-native environments.
  

• Troubleshoot and debug production issues; perform root cause analysis and resolution.
  

• Participate in Agile ceremonies , code reviews, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience as a Java Developer (Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices).
  

• Hands-on experience with IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) .
  

• Strong expertise in Snowflake – data pipelines, queries, and performance optimization.
  

• Solid knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, RDS, EC2, etc.).
  

• Preferably past experience working with Freddie Mac or in the mortgage industry .
  

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with PySpark for data transformation and analytics.
  

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  

• Knowledge of data governance and security best practices .
