Job Summary/Company : Sparks Group has partnered with a Government Contractor in the Northern Virginia area that is seeking Benefit Support Representatives for a 3-4 month contract. In this role you will be providing customer support to employees of their clients by responding to tickets and phone calls, and performing tasks related to client benefits programs. If you have 1 or more years of Benefits or Human Resources experience this may be the perfect role for you! Please apply today!
Responsibilities :- Provide support to Benefits Coordinators and Specialists
- Manages customer support in box
- Relays accurate and detailed information to customers related to benefits, COBRA, retirement plans, payroll, status changes, reimbursement plans and Premium Reserve Account (PRA)
- Follows company procedures with respect to all essential duties and responsibilities of the job
- Escalates incoming Customer Service requests to Benefits Specialists as required
- Additional administrative tasks an duties as assigned
- Prior Human Resources and/or knowledge of employee benefits administration processes.
- Must have strong organizational skills and be detail-oriented.
- Must have a professional demeaner and manages difficult or emotional customer situations
- Working knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a secure manner.
- Experience coordinating multiple assignments simultaneously
