Senior Clinical Lab Assistant
Virginia Beach, VA Work Shift
First (Days) Overview: Overview
- Travels to various facilities to perform patient phlebotomy, monitor staff and train staff; and reassign team when necessary for coverage. Collects, labels, and processes patient specimens for testing.
- Job Description Acts as site lead- directs and assigns work to other CLA-Phlebotomy employees. Responsible for daily operations and supply levels at the collection site. Operates and maintains laboratory equipment; responsible for both internal and external problem resolution. May perform EKGs or operate point of care equipment.
- High School Diploma (Required)
- Basic Life Support (AHA or RQI) (Required)
- Driver's License (Required)
- 2 years of laboratory experience (Required)
- 2 years of phlebotomy ex perience Required)
