Senior Geotechnical Engineer

Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) is currently seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineers with 10+ years of experience for our Sterling, VA office.

Geotechnical Engineer - Required Experience :

• Prior construction observation and testing experience
• Earthwork, foundation, and construction materials observation and testing.
• Subsurface investigations including borings and test pits, reviewing exploration logs, lab results, and plans.
• Preparation of geotechnical reports
• Retaining wall design
• Slope stability analysis
• Pavement Design
• Review of subsurface conditions and foundation design
• Project management

Geotechnical Engineer - Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in geotechnical engineering or civil engineering
• PE - Professional Engineer License
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• AutoCAD experience preferred
