Interior Design Intern
LaBella Associates is currently sourcing intern candidates for our Interior Design Studios in Richmond, VA with knowledge of design principles and the ability to communicate them as they apply to projects. Intermediate knowledge of all phases of design process.
Duties:
• Assist in drawings and specifications.
• Intermediate ability to create graphics for presentations and proposals.
• Assist in visualization exercises.
• Effective communication skills - written and verbal. Ability to understand directions and deliver assignments on time.
• Intermediate level of organization and time management skills.
• Accompany project leaders to client meetings and presentations.
• Maintain material library, organize manufacturers sales representative visits, and assist with sample returns.
Requirements
• Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Interior Design.
• Have a desire to work with an experienced Interior Designer in a fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent sketching and modeling skills
• Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Sketch up, Photoshop, Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and 3d Max at Intermediate to Advanced levels.
