Janitorial Specialist

No production work, no heavy machinery — just consistent, steady janitorial work in a professional environment.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, breakrooms, hallways, and high‑traffic areas across a 600,000+ sq. ft. facility.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and spot‑clean floors, surfaces, and windows.
• Sanitize restrooms, restock supplies, empty trash, and maintain overall cleanliness.
• Clean shared appliances such as microwaves, refrigerators, and breakroom equipment.
• Replace trash liners, vacuum carpets, and maintain tidy common areas.
• Keep cleaning carts, tools, and supplies stocked and organized.
• Perform routine deep‑cleaning tasks (interior windows, blinds, tile, etc.).
• Support special cleaning requests or facility needs as assigned.
• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly task lists with consistency and attention to detail.

What Helps You Succeed

• Basic knowledge of cleaning tools, chemicals, and standard janitorial practices.
• Ability to lift 25–30 lbs and stay active throughout the shift.
• Comfortable walking long distances, bending, reaching, and standing for extended periods.
• Experience in janitorial work, housekeeping, production, or general labor is a plus — but not required.

Work Environment

You’ll work throughout a large, well‑maintained 600K sq. ft. facility, helping keep offices, common areas, and production‑adjacent spaces clean and organized. This is a steady, predictable role in a professional environment — perfect for someone who likes routine and takes pride in their work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
