The hospital-based facility requires locum tenens critical care nurse practitioner coverage during the onboarding process for a new permanent employee. The facility manages critical care patients transferred from multiple sources including emergency departments and surrounding hospitals.

Virginia offers diverse outdoor recreation opportunities including hiking destinations, waterfalls, and national parks for nature enthusiasts. The clinician will provide night shift coverage from 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM, managing critical care patient admissions from the emergency department, hospital floors, and surrounding facilities. Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessment, treatment planning, and electronic documentation of all patient encounters. Board certification and prescriptive authority are required to ensure compliance with facility standards and patient care protocols.
