Systems Engineer Sr Advisor

There is no challenge we can’t turn into opportunity. And our work depends on a Storage Engineer joining our team to support an Intelligence Community customer’s activity in Chantilly, Virginia.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise storage platforms (NetApp, 3Par, Primera, EMC, Veritas , Cohesity etc…)
• Experience with NAS and SAN storage protocols to include NFS, CIFS and Fiber Channel
• Experience with data center installation of storage arrays to include initial software configurations,
• SAN zoning and IP based storage configurations
• Experience with data replication technologies such as NetApp SnapMirror
• Experience with storage array cluster switches
• Experience performing routine storage array firmware & OS code updates.
• Experience configuring storage platforms to include configuring clustering, HA, building aggregates, LUNs, volumes, shares and managing storage quotas.
• Experience with cloud-based storage platforms such as NetApp Cloud Volumes OnTap, AWS S3 and Azure Storage Accounts
• Knowledge of encryption technologies and integration with storage platforms.
• Knowledge of backup platforms and their implementation.
• Experience monitoring storage system and configurations in order to ensure system health and functionality as well as remediate issues in a timely manner
• BS degree and 10+ years of related experience; or equivalent combination
• An active TS / SCI clearance w/ CI scope poly
• DoD 8570 certification
