Plant Quality Systems Leader

Trivium Packaging
Roanoke, VA

Step into a day leading quality at our plant

You start with the line walk: reviewing KPIs posted on the floor, chatting with operators about GMPs, and confirming yesterday’s corrective actions stuck. A customer call comes in—you quickly analyze production and quality data, judge product acceptability against specifications, and align on next steps. Before lunch, you lead a root-cause session on a nonconformance, then audit the implementation of corrective actions from last week’s complaint. Your afternoon shifts to supplier performance—closing a coating or mill material claim with timely, accurate documentation—before you partner with Commercial, Product Development, and Corporate Engineering to plan a new product trial. You wrap by balancing the HFI system, updating inventory and rework status, and finalizing a concise quality review for leadership.

  • Supplier continuous improvement programs and resolution of defective material claims (coating and mill).

  • Primary external customer liaison to maintain strong relationships, resolve quality issues, and provide technical and quality support.
  • Leadership of root cause analysis and corrective actions for customer complaints and internal quality nonconformances; audit the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Cross-functional coordination with Commercial, Product Development, and Corporate Engineering for new business and product trials.
  • Ensure plant adherence to SMA principles and procedures.
  • Management of the HFI system including balance, disposition, re-work, and inventory levels.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
