Data Analyst V

We are seeking a Data Analyst V as part of a bid process associated with a Statement of Work. Candidates are encouraged to submit their information and resumes highlighting their relevant experience.

Position Responsibilities:

• Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the area of database administration
• Performs the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large relational and/or distributed databases
• Develops database requirements from operational documentation and user inputs
• Provides technical guidance in the selection, implementation, and deployment of databases and their architecture
• Manages the development of database projects. Provides highly technical expertise in the use of relational databases
• Evaluates and recommends available database technologies and products to support validated user requirements
• Defines file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications
• Designs, implements, and maintains complex databases with respect to access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation and statistical methods.
• Maintains database dictionaries, monitors standards and procedures and integration of systems, through database design
• Participates in planning analytical programs on the basis of specialized knowledge of problems and methods and probable value of results
• May serve as an expert in a narrow specialty making recommendations and conclusions that serve as the basis for undertaking or rejecting important projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum Education: MA/MS
• Minimum Experience: 12 years or more
