AI Agent Developer (Property Management Applications)

### **About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced **AI Agent Developer** to design, develop, and implement intelligent AI agents that enhance efficiency across our property management operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous AI systems using modern LLM frameworks and APIs, with a strong focus on automating workflows common in property management — from tenant communication to maintenance coordination and reporting.

This role blends **AI engineering**, **workflow automation**, and **real-world operations** — ideal for someone who loves creating intelligent tools that solve practical business problems.

### **Responsibilities**

* **Design and build AI agents** to handle property management tasks such as:
* Responding to tenant inquiries (e.g., rent, maintenance, policies)
* Scheduling maintenance or inspections via integrated systems
* Assisting with lease renewals, rent collection reminders, and follow-ups
* Drafting reports or emails from property data
* Managing listings, pricing, and vacancy data across platforms
* **Integrate AI agents** with property management systems (e.g., AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, HubSpot, Slack, etc.) and communication tools (email, SMS, chat).
* **Develop custom workflows** using APIs and automation platforms (e.g., LangChain, OpenAI API, Zapier, Make, or custom Python scripts).
* **Monitor and refine** AI performance to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with business rules.
* Collaborate with management and operations teams to identify new automation opportunities.
* Maintain clear documentation of workflows, integrations, and agent capabilities.

### **Required Qualifications**

* Proven experience developing AI agents or chatbots using frameworks such as **LangChain**, **LlamaIndex**, **OpenAI Function Calling**, **CrewAI**, or **AutoGen**.
* Proficiency with **Python**, **JavaScript**, or another automation-friendly language.
* Experience integrating AI models with **APIs**, **databases**, and **third-party services**.
* Strong understanding of **workflow automation**, **data pipelines**, and **prompt engineering**.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into scalable AI workflows.

### **Preferred Experience**

* Background in **property management software** (AppFolio, Buildium, Yardi, etc.).
* Experience developing tools for **customer service**, **tenant communication**, or **maintenance tracking**.
* Familiarity with **structured data** (leases, maintenance logs, financial reports).
* Understanding of **compliance**, **privacy**, and **data security** best practices for tenant information.

* **Tenant Assistant Agent** — answers FAQs, processes maintenance requests, and routes issues to the right team.
* **Maintenance Scheduler Agent** — automatically coordinates vendor availability and tracks job completion.

* **Owner Reporting Agent** — summarizes financials, occupancy rates, and sends automated monthly updates.
