Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $2,450–$2,510 per week

Job Details – Cath Lab RN Travel Assignment

• Location: Blacksburg, VA 24060 (Virginia healthcare jobs)
• Facility Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (August 11, 2025 – November 10, 2025)
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (07:30–16:00) plus on-call rotation
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel RN contract

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Virginia or compact state)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience, including STEMI PCI program participation
• Proficient in interventional cardiology procedures: PCI, pacemaker placements, and IR procedures
• Experience with Cath Lab equipment: Innova, Volcano, IABP, and MacLab documentation systems
• Ability to float to other cardiology or clinical support areas with training

Cath Lab RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a combined Cath/IR lab setting
• Assist with and monitor interventional cardiology procedures, including PCI and pacemaker placements
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using MacLab
• Participate in scheduled on-call rotation
• Float to additional cardiology areas as needed after appropriate training
