Job Summary:
The RK Subaru Express Technician at RK Auto will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled labor duties related to the maintenance and repair of Subaru vehicles. This individual will be a key member of our team, and will work closely with other technicians and service advisors to ensure efficient and timely completion of vehicle repairs. This is a full-time, individual contributor role located at our Virginia Beach, Virginia location.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this position is $14 to $18 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. In addition, the RK Subaru Express Technician will receive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on Subaru vehicles in accordance with manufacturer standards and guidelines
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Complete oil changes, tire rotations, and other basic services as needed
- Keep accurate records of all work completed and parts used
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers, providing updates on vehicle status and recommendations for additional services
- Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through training and certifications
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience as an automotive technician or equivalent training
- ASE certifications preferred
- Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
