Elwood Staffing is seeking a reliable and hardworking groundskeeper to support the maintenance and upkeep of city properties, parks, and public spaces. This role is essential in keeping our community clean, safe, and visually appealing.

City Services worker Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $14.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:00pm )

• Perform routine grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, edging, and landscaping
• Maintain parks, sidewalks, and public areas by removing debris and litter
• Operate and maintain lawn care equipment and tools safely
• Assist with planting, watering, and general landscaping projects
• Perform minor repairs and upkeep of grounds and facilities
• Follow safety procedures and city standards at all times

City Services worker Qualifications:

• Previous groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor labor experience preferred
• Ability to operate lawn and landscaping equipment
• Strong work ethic and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, and perform physically demanding tasks
• Team player with a positive attitude
