As Multimedia and Social Media Coordinator you will be responsible for various tasks. We require a candidate with competence in graphic design and photography. The role will include the design of creative assets, building emails, assisting with creating new website pages, capturing imagery and video for Overfinch's digital presence, and managing online vehicle advertisements across various platforms.

Main Activities of the Role:

Photography & Videography

  • Capturing stock vehicle imagery and videography for online vehicle advertisements.
  • Documenting vehicles with photography and video throughout the build process for use on social media and other activities.
  • Producing storyboards to deliver on-location videography and/or photography in various US locations.
  • Attending on-location photoshoots to capture photography and videography in various US locations as required.
  • Coordinating with third-party vendors to capture on-location and or/ studio photography and videography for Overfinch brand marketing and website.

Digital Content Creation

  • Creating professional client presentations for the sales team to share with individual customers.
  • Manipulation of imagery to cater to client preferences of vehicle specifications, e.g., new stitching colors.
  • Building weekly emails for distribution to the Overfinch database.
  • Creating engaging and eye-catching press ads.
  • Producing assets to various specifications, including website, social media, Google Display, and email.
  • Suggesting new designs and formats for our creatives that are on-brand but improve our existing offering.
  • Copywriting emails and social media captions.
  • Act as brand guardian for your work, ensuring everything captured aligns with the Overfinch brand guidelines.

Social Media

  • Take ownership of all current US social media channels and implement new channels as required.
  • Post content to all company-run US social media channels around events, product launches, and major calendar events.
  • Support the US Sales team with content for individual Overfinch Social Media Channels.
  • Always be on the lookout for suitable photo/video opportunities to maintain a variety across social media.

Online Vehicle Advertising

  • Work in conjunction with the Head of US Sales to ensure all stock vehicles are advertised online (Overfinch website, Autotrader, DuPont Registry) with accurate descriptions, imagery, and current pricing.

Liaison with UK parent Company

  • Maintain frequent communication with the Brand Manager and Senior Staff from the UK parent Company.
  • Regularly sharing best practices with the UK Company.
  • Attending training in the UK when required.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelors or associates degree in marketing, graphic design or equivalent discipline preferred, or equal relevant work experience.
  • A strong portfolio of Videography and photography, preferably within automotive and/or luxury brands.
  • A good working knowledge of industry-standard software including Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and InDesign).
  • Good understanding of UX/UI design.
  • A working knowledge of HTML is desirable but not essential.
  • A good working knowledge of online multimedia platforms, predominantly Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn & YouTube.
  • Competence-building emails in systems such as Campaign Monitor and Mailchimp.
  • Flexibility to work hours outside the regular work schedule, to assist with photoshoots and events when necessary.
  • Excellent visual design skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • An awareness of the Overfinch brand and/or a willingness to learn.
  • You must have a creative flair but know to apply this within the constraints of an established brand.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A good level of grammar and spelling.
  • Approachable and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Must be willing to travel by car and plane when required.
  • An ability to work well as part of a team and under one's own supervision.
  • Applicant must be a US citizen or be authorized to work in the US without Company sponsorship.
  • Applicant must hold a valid US driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Applicant must pass relevant drug and background checks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
