Three Year Old Lead Teacher
Summary The teacher will oversee the planning and implementing classroom activities for children ages 3-4 years. This may include but is not limited to: management of classroom groups while giving individual attention to each child; encourage independence and self-help; partner with the parents in the care and safety of the children; follow center policies on behavior, classroom management, education and nurture of students; maintain confidentiality; attend in-service trainings and staff meetings; meet all applicable licensing regulations, and maintain a safe and healthy environment. Duties
- Lesson planning
- Overall care of children
- Cleaning up after children
- Providing a safe and nurturing learning environment
- 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED
- CDA or BA in child related field or completion of Heart ‘n’ Hand Lead Teacher training
- Ability to perform basic housekeeping duties
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, parents, and students
- At least 6 months of experience in childcare setting
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Experience with planning and implementing age appropriate activities
- Knowledge of DSS standards
