Contract Specialist - Remote | WFH

Are you an experienced Contract Specialist looking for a rewarding remote opportunity? We're seeking a dedicated professional to support the U.S. Coast Guard Command, Control, Communication, Computer, Cyber, and Intelligence Service Center (C5ISC). This role is part of a new contract and offers the chance to work closely with key stakeholders in an impactful environment.

What You'll Do:
Collaborate with teams to define acquisition needs, review strategies, and conduct market research to ensure compliance with government requirements.
Assist in developing acquisition strategies and creating acquisition package documentation in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Work closely with Product Line Managers, Shared Service Division representatives, and other stakeholders to align acquisition projects with organizational goals.
Provide expertise in acquisition planning, including:
Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and evolving government acquisition policies.
Procurement processes for IT, radio frequency communication, and sensor systems.
Industry trends and best practices in IT, C5I systems, and business operations.
Federal policies related to enterprise IT acquisitions.
Research, draft, and refine documents to support Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements.

What We're Looking For:
✔️ Certification: FAC-C Professional, Legacy certification, or a commercial equivalent.
✔️ Experience: 3 to 5+ years in government acquisition planning, market research, requirements development, and procurement processes for contracts valued at $3M+.
✔️ Security Requirements: Must be able to pass a government background check.
✔️ Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship required.
