Automotive Technician w/ Signing Bonus! Lindsay Chevrolet of Front Royal is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. As an Automotive Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our customers' vehicles. Responsibilities: Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension systems. Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any potential problems or safety concerns. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot concerns and recommend appropriate repairs. Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair procedures and provide accurate cost estimates. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and industry standards according to federal, state, and local regulations. Keep up to date with advancements in automotive technology and participate in training programs as needed. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive repair is preferred. Virginia Safety inspection license preferred. Proven experience as an automotive technician, with a strong understanding of automotive systems and components. ASE certification or equivalent professional credentials are a plus. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
