Join our Chesterfield, VA team and turn ideas into visible landmarks. As an Architectural Signage Installation Technician, you’ll transform plans and drawings into finished installations—from storefront displays and banners to illuminated channel letters and vehicle wraps. If working with your hands, solving on-site challenges, and taking pride in precision sound like you, you’ll fit right in.
A day in the lifeYou’ll start your morning reviewing blueprints and double-checking materials before heading to the job site. On-site, you’ll safely operate ladders, lifts, and power tools to position and secure signage exactly to spec. Later, you might handle a maintenance call to repair an existing sign, then return to the shop to reset your vehicle, organize inventory, and prepare for tomorrow.
What you’ll do- Install a broad range of signage, including banners, channel letters, and vehicle wraps.
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for precise outcomes.
- Operate ladders, aerial lifts, and power equipment safely and efficiently.
- Coordinate with teammates and clients to confirm details and meet project requirements.
- Perform upkeep and repairs on installed signs as needed.
- Comply with safety regulations and uphold company quality standards.
- Keep your workspace and vehicle organized while tracking materials and supplies.
- High school diploma or GED; technical training in sign installation is a plus.
- Hands-on experience in sign installation or a closely related trade.
- Mechanical know-how and confidence with hand and power tools.
- Sharp attention to detail and strong troubleshooting ability.
- Comfort working independently and within a team.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including some weekends.
