Locum - Nurse Practitioner - Urgent Care
Job Description: Urgent Care / Occupational Health NP or PA
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for an ongoing, as-needed opportunity within our Urgent Care and Occupational Health clinic. This role is ideal for a provider who enjoys clinical independence while having the security of off-site physician support.
Role Overview
- Practice Setting: Urgent Care clinic providing both episodic medical care and Occupational Health services (injury treatment).
- Autonomy: You will work autonomously with a supervising physician available via phone.
- Patient Population: Comprehensive care across all age groups (Pediatric through Geriatric).
- EMR System: Anthem.
Requirements
- Certification: Must be Board Certified (ANCC or AANP).
- Licensure: Active Virginia (VA) medical license is required .
- Life Support: Current BLS certification.
- Residency: This position is open to local providers only.
Compensation & Benefits
- Travel: Local mileage will be reimbursed at the standard IRS rate.
- Schedule: Ongoing coverage based on clinic needs, 12 hour shifts.
