As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Services in Richmond, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with checking credentials, directing foot traffic, and documenting visitor and/or contractor activity in accordance with site policies.
• Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and daily activity logs, and share relevant observations with Allied Universal leadership and/or designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
