As we continue to grow, we are looking to add a Maintenance Technician to our team! The Maintenance Technician will be a knowledgeable and skilled technician capable of performing a variety of tasks across our organization. Every day will be different as you learn from your fellow team members and identify efficient and sustainable solutions to any needs that arise. This role has the potential to continually evolve within the department as the maintenance team continues to grow and accept additional responsibilities to support our companies.

What You'll Do:

1. Perform a variety of general building and property maintenance, service, and repair services supporting multiple company owned properties.
2. Perform a variety of maintenance services to include, but not limited to painting, working on sheet rock, power washing, and more.
3. Troubleshoot to identify potential root causes and develop effective solutions.
4. Perform other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring:

• Previous maintenance experience is preferred.
• Comfortable performing duties from an elevated height on a ladder, lift, or roof top.
• Possess a strong understanding of the safe usage of hand and power tools.
• Able and willing to be trained on the proper and safe operation of equipment as needed (e.g., Boom Lift).
• Fluent English-speaking and writing skills are required.
• Driving Requirements:
• Must have a valid Virginia driver's license.
• Must have positive points on state driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age unless company approval is granted.
• Must not have had a DUI, DWI, or reckless driving conviction in the last five years.
• All driving records are run as part of our pre-employment process and reviewed at the discretion of the Safety Team.
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to crawl, kneel, squat, and climb.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, unassisted.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
