Location: Shirlington Animal Hospital
Schedule: Full-time with Saturday rotation
Pay Range: $18–$22 per hour (based on experience)
Shirlington Animal Hospital is seeking a friendly, dependable, and hardworking Veterinary Receptionist to join our team! The ideal candidate will be reliable, have a positive attitude, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for providing excellent client service in a fast-paced veterinary environment.
Key Responsibilities:Greet clients and their pets with a warm, professional, and compassionate approach
Check patients in and out efficiently and accurately
Answer and manage a multi-line phone system
Schedule appointments and assist with daily clinic flow
Maintain accurate medical records and client information
Process payments and handle basic administrative duties
Communicate effectively with doctors, technicians, and clients
Support clinic operations as needed
Previous veterinary reception or veterinary clinic experience required
Experience with Avimark is a plus
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently at times and as part of a team
Friendly, professional, and reliable work ethic
