Lead Construction Superintendent
Our client is seeking experienced Superintendents to lead ground-up construction projects involving complex concrete and steel structures in Virginia Beach, VA. This role is responsible for managing all field operations, coordinating trades, enforcing safety and quality standards, and translating project direction into efficient execution on site. The ideal candidate is a seasoned field leader who thrives in high-complexity environments, excels at multitasking, and maintains strong subcontractor and owner relationships. location: VIRGINIA BEACH, Virginia

salary: $110,000 - 140,000 per year
work hours: 8am to 5pm
education: No Degree Required responsibilities:
- Oversee all day-to-day field operations on ground-up construction projects
- Coordinate subcontractors, manpower, sequencing, and trade execution
- Maintain project schedule, quality control, and safety compliance
- Communicate project direction from the Project Manager to field teams
- Lead site logistics, layout planning, and multi-trade coordination
- Build and manage high-performing field crews
- 5+ years experience as a Superintendent on ground-up commercial projects
- Proven experience with multi-story cast-in-place concrete construction
- Experience with steel frame projects
- Scheduling, trade coordination, and subcontractor management skills
- Computer literacy - email communication and document review required
