Leasing Coordinator
Location: Roanoke, VA
Compensation: $22.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Position SummaryWe are seeking a customer-focused Leasing Coordinator to support leasing operations at an affordable housing community. This role is responsible for guiding prospective residents through the leasing process—from initial inquiry to move-in—while ensuring compliance with affordable housing regulations and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to leasing inquiries, conduct property tours, and follow up with prospective residents.
- Process applications, leases, renewals, and recertifications.
- Maintain waitlists, resident files, and accurate leasing records.
- Verify applicant income, assets, and household eligibility.
- Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, Section 8, and Fair Housing regulations.
- Track leasing activity, occupancy, and conversion metrics.
- Support marketing, outreach, and resident retention initiatives.
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and prospects.
- Perform notary services as needed.
