About the Role

• This role is for a Senior Full Stack Engineer with heavy backend focus, utilizing AI-assisted development tools.
• The position involves leading end-to-end software development, performance optimization, collaborative solution delivery, and production support.
• The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java, databases, and modern frameworks, along with experience using Gen AI and coding agents.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end software development including analysis, planning, architecture, design, development, automated testing, deployment, and maintenance using industry best practices and security standards.
• Performance optimization - analyze system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance application efficiency and scalability.
• Collaborative solution delivery - partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements, leverage proof of concepts for technical decisions, and implement solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Production support and maintenance - support applications across environments, resolve critical issues, and fulfill ad-hoc requests to ensure seamless business operations.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or above) including I/O, Multithreading, Collections, Generics, Lambda.
• Strong database skills with very good understanding of RDBMS (MS SQL or PostgreSQL) and ability to write advanced SQL queries with thorough understanding of JOINs and performance tuning.
• Experience with Gen AI tools and AI Coding Agents (e.g., Claude Code, Codex).
• Experience using at least one Coding Agent enabled IDE (e.g., VSCode, Amazon Kiro).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate ideas effectively.
• Open minded and motivated team player.
• Proficiency working with Docker containers and understanding of application lifecycle management.
• Ability to use a CI/CD pipeline (e.g., JIRA, Jenkins) to deploy applications.
• REST API Web Services and GraphQL API query language.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Core, MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, Dependency Injection, DAO, JTA, JDBC.
• Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery, Angular 9 or above.
• Experience with Apache Tomcat, Jetty Server.
• Experience with Maven, Gradle, JUnit/Mockito, Cucumber.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns like MVC, Singleton, Session, Facade, Factory, DAO, DTO.
• Proficiency in XML technologies and XML parsers, as well as JSON technologies.
• Experience with ORM framework Hibernate.
• Experience with streaming technology Kafka.
• Experience with AWS EKS.
