Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Medical Oncology Unit. Hours: (7:00 PM - & 7:00 AM) Shift: Nights (Differential) Weekend: Rotate Weekly Schedule Hour: 36 hours (3/12 Hours -) As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career. This position's primary duties include assessing/admitting patients, rounding checks, giving medications, talking with family members, and being responsible for the overall care of your patients. - Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- RN-Associate's Degree, or
- RN-Bachelor's Degree, or
- RN-Diploma, or
- RN-Master's Degree
- As an RN on this unit, some of the services you will provide are as follows: Chemotherapy/Biotherapy drug administration (Certification required after 6-months of hire.)
