Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00/5:30 PM
Pay: $18.50$20.00/hr depending on experience
Dress Code: Solid color scrubs
Position Type: Contract OR Temp to Hire
Our client, a busy multi-location medical practice, is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (MA) to join their team. This role requires flexibility to work between two offices located just 15 minutes apart.
Responsibilities
- Room patients, record vitals, and obtain medical histories
- Maintain patient flow and assist with scheduling
- Document accurately in the EMR system
- Perform clerical duties, including reports and notes
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards
- Support physicians and clinical staff in daily operations
- Assist with ordering and maintaining medical supplies
Requirements
- Current Medical Assistant Certification
- OB/GYN experience or multidisciplinary clinic experience
- Active BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
- Willingness to rotate between Norfolk and Virginia Beach offices
