UI Developer with Snowflake (VA)
Job Overview:
We are looking for a talented Senior UI Developer with a strong background in cloud computing and expertise in Snowflake and Sybase/Postgres. This role requires a senior-level professional who can influence technical decisions and drive the development of user-centric applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement intuitive user interfaces for Freddie Mac's cloud-based applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend developers to define and deliver innovative solutions.
- Leverage Snowflake for data integration and management within UI applications.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability to meet user demands.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and contribute to architectural discussions.
- Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure best practices in UI development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in UI development with a strong portfolio of web applications.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, particularly Snowflake.
- Familiarity with database management systems, specifically Sybase and Postgres.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Knowledge of backend technologies and APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
