Position Overview

The Department of Public Works – Towing & Recovery Division is seeking a part-time, temporary Account Representative to support our 24/7 operations. This role is ideal for a professional, detail-oriented individual who is flexible, reliable, and eager to learn. Paid training will be provided.

Schedule & Hours

• 20–30 hours per week
• Rotating shifts, 5 days per week , including weekends
• Typical shifts include:
• 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
• Additional hours may be scheduled based on departmental needs
• Must be available for occasional last-minute coverage
• Training Schedule:
• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM for the first 4 weeks
• After training, shifts will rotate

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer service in a fast-paced environment
• Accurately manage and process account-related information
• Perform data entry and documentation using Microsoft Office programs
• Multi-task while maintaining attention to detail
• Collaborate effectively with team members
• Communicate clearly and professionally with internal and external contacts

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills

• Professional, responsible, and team-oriented
• Strong attendance and reliability history
• Prior customer service experience preferred
• No prior account representative experience required — training provided

Additional Information

• This is an on-site position ; remote work is not available
• Reliability and flexibility are critical due to the 24/7 nature of the facility
