Facility Technician - CAMP

Camp Easterseals, located in the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains of New Castle, Virginia, is seeking a dedicated and reliable Facility Technician to join our team!

Position Details: Part-time, Up to 29 hrs. per week
Location: New Castle, VA
Compensation: $20.00/hour

What You’ll Do:

The Facility Technician is responsible for assisting with maintenance-related tasks including, but not limited to pre and post-camp clean-up, supervising and caring for supplies and equipment, and maintaining and repairing all building and grounds.

What We’re Looking For:

To join our team, you must have effective time management and organization skills as well as great communication. We also require the following:

• Skills necessary to oversee the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds or equipment.
• Interest in understanding of people with disabilities and camp activities.
• Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and operate camp vehicles and equipment.
• Ability to identify and respond to environmental and man-made hazards on camp grounds.
• Cares for horses and assists with riding program.
