Legal Marketing Specialist (One Day/Week In-office)

A highly respected, boutique law firm in Fairfax County is seeking a Legal Marketing Specialist to support strategic branding and business development efforts. This is a great opportunity for a creative, detail-oriented marketing professional to work closely with firm leadership and contribute to high-impact initiatives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. What You’ll Do:

• Partner with attorneys and the Marketing team to shape and implement the Firm’s visibility and branding strategies.
• Create compelling content, including press releases, website copy, timekeeper bios, social media posts, and award submissions.
• Oversee and execute the Firm’s social media strategy, driving internal and external engagement.
• Manage the Firm’s website to ensure timely, accurate, and compelling content.
• Support business development efforts with pitch materials, proposals, presentations, and tailored collateral.
• Coordinate submissions for rankings and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500), including drafting, editing, and post-submission follow-up.
• Lead and support internal and external events, webinars, and speaking engagements.
• Design graphics and visuals to support the Firm’s brand across digital and print platforms.
• Manage CRM marketing tools, mailing lists, and outreach campaigns.
• Help onboard new employees with marketing essentials like bios, business cards, and headshots.
• Provide marketing guidance directly to attorneys and act as a go-to resource across the Firm.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced. You bring 4+ years of marketing and communications experience with a law firm. Industry experience is required.
• Organized. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can juggle multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
