Come join our team! Mobius is seeking an AEGIS Missile Software Engineer. In this role, you will collaborate with a highly skilled, mission‑driven group of engineers, active‑duty Naval Officers, and contract professionals who are dedicated to delivering advanced missile defense capabilities to the Fleet. You will work alongside some of the nation’s leading engineers and scientists, contributing to impactful and technically challenging defense initiatives. This position is located in Dahlgren, VA.

Duties of an AEGIS Missile Software Engineer may include:

• Support SM‑3 Block IIA Missile Communications, with a focus on radio‑frequency missile communication components.


• Provide both operational and technical expertise to integrate existing and emerging command‑and‑control systems, while developing and documenting system architectures and functions within applicable Interface Control Documents—specifically the GFC/C to Link‑16 interface.


• Deliver performance assessment and verification (PAV) support to the Systems Engineer for the AEGIS Ballistic Missile Defense Program Office, including developing PAV processes and plans, and monitoring and executing those plans to assess and verify overall system performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience working on DOD or missile defense software programs


• Works Independently, as a team member, or leading teams/tasks


• Ability to apply engineering rigor to solve engineering/scientific problems


• Provide programmatic oversight of SM-3 Blk IIA Missile. Communications, components, development and integration within the Guidance Section (GS) and Kinetic Warhead (KW)


• Active TS/SCI Clearance


• Prior experience with AEGIS Weapons Systems


• Experience with Missile System Software Development


• Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, AEGIS Qualifications, etc.

• Bachelor’s Degree (STEM)

• Active Secret Clearance
