The Opportunity
This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Our Nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On
Coordinating production team activities to deliver performance for the shift/line
Developing team members through training programs and timely coaching and feedback
Modeling and promoting behaviors to drive a culture of safety and quality compliance
Driving operational efficiencies and understanding performance based on key metrics
Promoting a continuous improvement culture using problem-solving skills
Managing expenses, including labor and overtime costs
Modeling and promoting accountability to our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures
You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, science, food technology or engineering or two years’ supervisory experience in a regulated industry with a GED/High School diploma
Strong verbal and written communication skills

The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
