Geo cgi is looking for a Data Project Manager to support NATO’s Cyber and Digital Transformation (CDT) Division in Brussels, Belgium. This role will help drive NATO’s transition to a data-driven organization, supporting enterprise data strategy, governance, and data-sharing initiatives across a complex, multinational environment. This is a unique opportunity to shape how data is managed, shared, and leveraged across NATO to enable advanced analytics, AI, and mission-critical decision-making. This opportunity requires a relocation to Brussels, Belgium.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate enterprise-level data-sharing initiatives, including federated data ecosystems and data catalog efforts
• Support development and execution of NATO’s data governance framework (people, process, and technology)
• Maintain and evolve a Data Strategy Roadmap, including architectures, use cases, and milestones
• Provide data advisory support across initiatives such as data platforms, data catalogs, and data mesh approaches
• Gather requirements, document insights, and align technical and operational data strategies
• Lead project planning and execution, including timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Manage stakeholder engagement across technical teams, leadership, and external partners
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure alignment with enterprise goals
• Facilitate workshops and collaboration sessions to solve complex data challenges
  
  

As a candidate supporting NATO:

The following are requirements of the Data Project Manager:

• U.S. Citizen and Active U.S. Passport.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or NATO Secret Clearance.
• 5 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Engineering,
• or related field; or 3 years of experience with a Master’s degree; or 2 years of experience with a PhD.
• 5+ years of experience in digital transformation, with a focus on:
• Data Governance
• Data Management
• Data Engineering and/or Data Visualization
• Proven experience delivering data-focused projects within large, complex organizations
• Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal, English)

The following are preferred of the Data Project Manager:

• Experience working in NATO or similar multinational environments
• Familiarity with data platforms, data catalogs, and data-sharing ecosystems
• Experience with cloud platforms (commercial or on-prem)
• Knowledge of enterprise frameworks (TOGAF, ITIL, COBIT)
• Understanding of modern data architectures (e.g., data mesh)

The annual base salary range for this position is anticipated to be $140,000 – $165,000 USD. The listed salary range represents our good faith estimate for this position.
