TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support yard jockey and local operations based in Harrisonburg, VA.

This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.

CDL A Details

• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm, 45 hour weeks

• Pay: $26 Per Hour + OT after 40 hours

• Route Type: Yard Jockey that sometimes goes on the road for fuel/shuttle

• Freight / Load Type: Solar panels

• Handling: No touch freight

CDL A Minimum Requirements:

• License: CDL A or Non-CDL

• Experience: 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience

• Endorsements: None

• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)

• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements

CDL A Responsibilities:

• Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes

• Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards

• Perform required handling tasks

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Maintain accurate logs and paperwork

• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations

• Meet the physical demands of the role, including [lifting, climbing, strapping, tarping, etc., if applicable]
