ODS offers a range of consulting services, all designed to help Federal agencies achieve their goals. ODS has several opportunities for a 5-year contract supporting a federal client in the DC Metro area for accounting, budgeting, operations, and financial reporting.
Job Summary:
The Strategic Real Estate Analyst provides analytical and advisory support for federal real property, space planning, and portfolio optimization initiatives in support of the Federal Protective Service (FPS). The Analyst conducts space utilization assessments, occupancy agreement tracking, relocation planning, and strategic real estate analyses to support mission requirements and long-term organizational objectives. Additional responsibilities include preparing business case analyses, executive briefings, and reports; coordinating with GSA and internal stakeholders; supporting build-out and reconfiguration projects; and identifying opportunities for cost savings, consolidation, and operational efficiency. The Analyst ensures compliance with applicable federal regulations, policies, and space management requirements while delivering data-driven recommendations to support government decision-making.
Location: TSA HQs, Springfield, VA; Bren Mar Facility, Alexandria, VA.
Salary: $135,000 - $140,000
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Conduct on-site visits to assess facility conditions, space usage, and deficiencies for relocations and build-out projects to aid governmental decision making.
- Collect detailed measurements and document space conditions to support accurate space planning, layout recommendations, and relocation scenarios.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of space utilization and office performance to provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing layouts and allocations.
- Identify underutilized areas and assess opportunities for consolidation and efficiency improvements to aid governmental decision making.
- Conduct comprehensive portfolio analyses to identify and recommend opportunities for consolidation, cost savings, and improved efficiency.
- Draft strategic real estate plans aligned with FPS’s mission and long-term objectives, including forecasting future space needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience and active CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member.)
- Active (Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting) FAC-C certification for Leasing Contracting Officers, within the last 5 years, or equivalent.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a DHS suitability determination and HSPD-12 PIV card.
Education/Certifications:
- MA/MS in a related field.
