- Foster a collaborative, high-energy team environment focused on delivering high-value solutions
- Drive effective sprint execution by ensuring clear priorities, strong team alignment, and disciplined Agile practices
- Enhance transparency and accountability through accurate documentation of sprint plans, release plans, team agreements, and retrospectives
- Strengthen communication between stakeholders, product management, and development teams to ensure shared understanding and successful outcomes
- Proactively resolve conflicts and escalate issues appropriately to maintain delivery momentum
- Empower teams to take collective ownership of committed work across analysis, development, testing, and documentation
- Improve delivery predictability by tracking team capacity and performance metrics, enabling data-driven decisions
- Support organizational Agile maturity by coaching teams and reinforcing SAFe principles and continuous improvement practices
Bring your software development expertise and drive for innovation to GDIT. The SCRUM Master must have:
- Education: BA/BS in related field or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience
- Required Experience: 1+ years of related experience
- Required Technical Skills: Experience with Scrum Master/Agile/Kanban; Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian tools; SharePoint, MS Office (including MS Project)
- Attributes for Success: Good team work and communication skills with all levels of staff
- Preferred Skills: 2 + years experience; Bachelor's degree; Certified Scrum Master Certification; Prior Agile project experience in the federal space; Backlog tracking, burn down metrics, velocity, and task definition; Fundamentals of iterative development; Translating requirements into user stories; Fundamentals of software development and integration processes and procedures; Incremental delivery and the value of metrics
- Location: 100% remote working; Working Hours: Monday-Friday 9am to 5:30pm EST
- Clearance: N/A but must be clearable for a CMS public trust
- US Residency: Applicants shall have lived in the United States at least three (3) out of the last five (5) years prior to submitting an application for a Federal ID Card

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
