The Medical-Surgical Unit at Sentara Obici Hospital is a great place to learn and grow, supported by a longstanding leadership team and strong preceptors dedicated to mentoring new nurses. With a 21-bed capacity, an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 6, and PCTs assisting with an average of 10 or 11 patients, the unit offers a collaborative, supportive environment ideal for both new graduates and experienced nurses seeking to enhance their skillset. Unit coordinators are on staff, ensuring smooth operations and quality patient care. - BLS required within 90 days of hire
- None required
- 1 year of acute care (preferred)
- Previous healthcare experience (preferred)
