Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Roving Patrol in Glen Allen VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location you will monitor assigned areas conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This role combines a strong presence with exceptional customer service and communication supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees visitors and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures security-related policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents alarms and/or unusual activity in a calm problem-solving manner and escalate concerns through proper communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the banking location including lobbies offices parking areas and perimeter access points.
• Monitor access to the location by observing entry and exit activity verifying credentials when required and reporting unauthorized persons and/or suspicious behavior.
• Complete routine reports and document daily activities incidents and/or maintenance concerns related to the post.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
