- Light Housekeeping/Household Management (incl. laundry and linen changing)

- Transportation using own or clients vehicle
- Helping family members learn safe care techniques
- Tolerance to small pets (i.e. dogs and/or cats)
- Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at an average adult level and interpret the Plan of Care Document provided by Senior Helpers
- Spanish speakers welcomed; se habla Espaol
- Ability to drive is preferred
- Ability to use public transportation to get to work
- Valid US issued drivers license with no serious driving violations
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to new situations
- Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers
- Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care, a plus, but not required
- Must be able to be reached via phone oremail for shift schedules, client updates and/or emergencies
Minimum shifts are 4 hours ***Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening. Testing includes, but is not limited to, amphetamines, methamphetamines, cocaine, opiates (including morphine), and benzodiazepines. Applicants with valid prescriptions may disclose them to the testing provider.***
