Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position requiring BLS and PALS certifications, working night shifts at an academic medical center.

Details

• 13-week contract in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at an academic medical center
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00), nights or rotating
• Every other holiday required
• 3 weekends per six-week schedule required
• Floating may be required to NICU and Acute Care Pediatrics based on staffing needs
• EMR: Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; VA license pending will be accepted
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS
• Pediatric ICU nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Pediatric cardiac experience is a plus
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract; no time off approved during the first 2 weeks of the contract
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
