Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity has arisen for experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to take on an itinerant role in a supportive educational environment in Henrico, VA. This position is designed to provide comprehensive services to public school students and will extend for the full semester, offering a unique chance to make a significant impact on student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
- Virginia SLP License required
- New graduates and Clinical Fellows (CFs) are encouraged to apply
Location: Henrico, VA
Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to ensure cohesive support for students
- Maintain documentation of student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
- Offer therapy in both in-person and potentially through teletherapy services
