Maintenance Tech 2-3 (night shift)

We are seeking a highly skilled, well-rounded Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician to support our composite decking manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role requiring extensive experience across multiple critical plant systems — not a single-discipline specialist.Â

The ideal candidate will have strong working knowledge of industrial boilers, air compressor systems, hot oil systems, chillers, hydraulics, extrusion equipment, grinding/crushing systems, PLC troubleshooting, and flame safety systems. Â

This position plays a key role in keeping both plant utilities and production equipment operating safely and efficiently. This is not a single-system boiler technician position. Candidates must have experience across multiple plant utility systems.  Â

KEY DUTIES Â

• Repair and maintain preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems including weight feeders, scales, conveyors, hot oil, steam, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and equipment.Â

• Repair all electrical, electronic systems including servo equipment, photo eyes, electronic sensors, temperature controls and combustion equipment.Â

• Troubleshooting of programmable logic controls including understanding of ladder logic. Â

• Responsible for metal fabrication, machining, facility maintenance and preventative maintenance to the facility and all equipment.Â

• Participate in the management and maintenance of the parts inventory system, including researching equipment to determine parts required.Â

• Support engineering in the improvement and/or development and implementation of new products and processes.Â

• Perform housekeeping duties to keep plant appearance at an acceptable and safe manner.Â

• Working knowledge of motors, drives, control wiring and PLC’s required.Â

Required Skills & Experience:Â

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentÂ

• Â Strong experience with several of the following industrial utility systems:Â

• • Industrial boilersÂ

• • Air compressor systemsÂ

• • Hot oil systemsÂ

• • ChillersÂ

• • Hydraulic systemsÂ

• • PLC troubleshootingÂ

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilityÂ

Preferred Skills & Experience:Â

• Experience working on extrusion equipment preferredÂ
