Launchpad Labor & HCM is seeking a Product Designer to help shape intuitive, high-impact user experiences in a hybrid work environment.

Position Summary

As a Product Designer at Launchpad Labor & HCM, you will design end-to-end product experiences that balance user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and stakeholders to define problems clearly, explore creative solutions, and deliver polished designs that are ready for implementation.

This role is ideal for a designer who can move seamlessly from discovery to execution—translating insights into flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity UI—while maintaining strong craft, usability, and consistency across the product.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead product design efforts across the lifecycle, from early ideation and user research to interaction design and final UI specifications.

• Partner with product and engineering teams to refine requirements, validate design decisions, and ensure smooth delivery.

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively communicate interaction and visual intent.

• Conduct usability reviews and incorporate feedback to improve clarity, accessibility, and overall user experience.

• Maintain design standards and contribute to a scalable, consistent design system through documentation and collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience designing digital products, including strong portfolio examples covering problem discovery through shipped outcomes.

• Proficiency in producing clear, production-ready design artifacts (e.g., flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI).

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, usability practices, and accessibility considerations.

• Ability to work cross-functionally, taking feedback constructively and aligning design decisions with product strategy.

• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present design rationale and tradeoffs to diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for complex workflows or enterprise-grade products.

• Familiarity with developing and extending design systems and maintaining consistency across product surfaces.

• Experience running or supporting lightweight research activities such as user interviews, usability testing, or concept validation.

• Experience collaborating in Agile development environments, translating designs into implementation-ready specifications.

• Knowledge of practical design-to-development handoff processes to reduce rework and improve fidelity.

Compensation

Annual salary: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00
