Architectural designer
VanDuzer Architects PC is seeking a talented Architectural Designer to join our dynamic team. You will be involved in various phases of the architectural process, from initial concept development and schematic design to the detailed design and project documentation. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project team to develop innovative architectural designs.
- Prepare design presentations and visualizations for client meetings.
- Conduct site analysis and gather relevant data to inform designs.
- Develop detailed architectural drawings and specifications using software such as AutoCAD and Revit.
- Coordinate with engineers and other consultants to ensure design feasibility and compliance with codes.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents and manage project timelines.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to ensure design intent is being realized during construction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp.
- Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
- Ability to produce high-quality architectural renderings and presentations.
- Critical thinking skills to solve design-related challenges creatively.
- A portfolio showcasing relevant design work and experience in architectural projects.
