CNC Machinist
CNC Machinist
Pay: 22-27$ an hour DOE. More pay after 90 day probation period. If they do well.
Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am-4:30pm, Friday - 7am-3:30pm
Location: Dublin, VA
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts. Candidates should be comfortable working off prints, maintaining tolerances, and verifying quality throughout production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills and/or lathes depending on placement)
- Load programs, adjust offsets, and perform tool changes as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints and specs to maintain accurate tolerances
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
- Monitor machine performance and report issues as needed
- Maintain production documentation and follow safety policies
Qualifications:
- CNC machining experience required (setup experience strongly preferred)
- Able to read blueprints and work to tight tolerances
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliability and solid work ethic
