CNC & Manual Machinist
- Interpret work orders, blueprints, orthographic drawings, and GD&T symbols to plan machining work
- Program and operate 3-Axis CNC mills using G-code and conditional logic
- Set up zero/reference points, tool registers, offsets, and compensation
- Perform drilling, tapping, turning, facing, and cutting operations
- Conduct precision measurements and first-run inspections
- Troubleshoot machining issues and reprogram as needed
- Operate manual mills/lathes and other shop equipment (drill press, wet saw, belt sander, hydraulic press)
- Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance and tool management
- Monitor and manage stock inventory levels and requisitions
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in CNC machining
- Proficient in programming and editing G-code
- Strong understanding of geometry and trigonometry
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with quality control processes, including First Article Inspection and PPAP
- Basic inventory and supply management knowledge
- Able to stand, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience in sheet metal manufacturing
- Familiarity with CAM software such as SolidWorks
- Understanding of ISO 9001 quality standards
- Process improvement experience
- Experience with manual mills and lathes
