IT Governance Analyst - Richmond, VA

We are seeking a highly skilled IT Governance Analyst with expertise in Azure cloud services and AI technologies. This role involves integrating advanced AI frameworks, designing robust data pipelines, and developing scalable architectures that enable seamless interactions between AI agents and diverse data sources. The ideal candidate will combine technical excellence with a deep understanding of IT governance to help drive innovation and efficiency across the organization.

• • Design, develop, and govern data pipelines and workflows to support agentic AI systems and ensure seamless integration with diverse data sources.

  • Develop robust data flows to handle complex interactions between AI agents and enterprise data platforms.

  • Train and fine-tune large language models (LLMs) for specific use cases.

  • Design and build data architecture , including databases and data lakes , to support a variety of data engineering and AI tasks.

  • Develop and manage Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) processes to move data from source systems to analytical platforms used in data science.

  • Integrate AI agent frameworks with cloud-based services.

  • Work with Azure cloud services such as:

    • Azure Blob Storage

    • Azure Data Lakes

    • Azure Databricks

    • Azure Machine Learning

    • Azure Computer Vision

    • Azure Video Indexer

    • Azure OpenAI Models

    • Azure Media Services

    • Azure AI Search

  • Apply knowledge of Graph DBs for complex data relationships and queries.

  • Work with GIS spatial data to:

    • Create markers on maps (latitude/longitude)

    • Analyze nearest topology of roads

    • Geo-locate and correlate data between datasets.

  Required Qualifications:

  • Azure Certification.

  • Solid knowledge of AI principles and practices.

  • Expertise in integrating with AI agent frameworks .

  • Experience with cloud AI services , specifically Azure AI .

  • Strong skills in data pipeline design and development .

  • Proven ability to train and fine-tune large language models .

  • Experience designing data architecture to support data engineering tasks.

  • Hands-on experience with ELT processes .

  • Proficiency in Azure Blob Storage, Azure Data Lakes, Azure Databricks .

  • Experience implementing Azure Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Video Indexer, OpenAI models, Media Services, and AI Search .

  • Familiarity with Graph databases .

  • Experience handling GIS spatial data and geographic correlations.
